Shalya Tantra Department embraces all processes aiming at removal of factors responsible for producing distress in body and mind. Postgraduate Department of Shalya Tantra is the excellence centre for Shastra Karma and Anushastra Karma. The Department has taken a lead in adopting and integrating the modern concepts, tools and techniques of modern general surgery for advancement of the art and science of Ayurvedic surgery. The Department has expertise both in traditional Shalya Karma as well as modern surgical procedures. The Modular Operation Theatre as per the guidelines of NABH and CPWD is likely going to be completely established shortly.
