Department of Kayachikitsa is the backbone of clinical teaching and hospital care in every Ayurvedic institution. This department is concerned with post-graduate education, research, innovation, policy assistance and patient care in the area of Ayurvedic Internal Medicine and its Clinical Specialties. Our vision and mission is to excel in education, research and patient care so as to benefit human kind and be the benchmark in Kayachikitsa all over the world. Major field of research activities of Kayachikitsa department are Hridya Roga (Cardiac disorders) Shawas Rog (Pulmonary disorders, Udar Roga (Gastro-Intestinal disorders), Yakrit Roga (Hepatic disorders), Manas Roga (Psychiatry), Rasayana and Vajikarna, Vatavyadhi, Ojovyapat (Autoimmune disorders), Prameha Roga (Diabetes), Antaha-sravi granthi roga (Endocrinedisorders), Medovikara (Dyslipidemia), Amalpitta (APD), Grahani (IBS), Chaya-apchayavikara (Metabolic-syndrome) etc. An important section of Kayachikitsa is Manas roga and Geriatric care. OPD & IPD services are provided along with diagnostic procedures like ECG and Spirometry for cardiac and respiratory diseases.
