The etiopathogenesis of infirmity cannot be explained unless Dosha-Dhatu-Mala’s physiological functioning is thoroughly understood. This department’s wide perspective gives enormous contribution in the possibilities of new medical technology developments and supports clinical management of diseased conditions. Ayurveda considers every individual as a unique entity and to understand their Uniqueness “Prakriti Parikshan” is the key specialty of this subject. Objective and Subjective parameters of Agni Pariksha, Dosha-Dhatu Mala kshaya vriddhi, Dhatu Saarta, Shadkriya Kala, Medha, Vyadhi Shamatva etc. are the parameters to understand and assess the functioning of these entities. In short, this subject is the base subject to evaluate, understand and practically implement the functioning of ayurvedic basic principles for all the rest of the departments. This Department is wallow in research work through MD and Post Doctorate courses.
